Hey there, I’m Vanessa, V for short, V-squared to my co-workers. I became a momma to a beautiful baby boy in January 2011. Gabriel is the biggest blessing! I have an amazing husband, and we have finally arrived where we will lay down some roots, in the Triad of North Carolina. I used to be in the Army, but now I’m back to civilian status–and lovin’ it! I’m a wife, working mom, former MBA student (done!), runner, photographer, and I want to add writer to this list, so this blog is my not-so-new beginning. I have a lot of thoughts–some deep, some shallow, some random, & some crazy–and this will help me capture those thoughts and share them! Oct 2012 note: More than wanting to be a writer, I want to remember these times when Gabe is young. He is almost 2 now (!!) so this is my way to capture the day-to-day moments.
